On my travels through Australia and New Zealand, there was one thing I found myself missing: a bag in which to carry wet bikinis or other bits and pieces. So I set about sewing my first bikini bag and giving bespoke pieces as gifts to my sisters and friends.
And so ‘hey aroha’ was born – a bag made with lots of love for my loved ones. Every bag is one of a kind and named after them. Nowadays, the bags are also being repurposed as stylish toiletries bags, chic beach bags and handbags – which makes me really happy! I share my happiness with you on Instagram: @hey_aroha
I’m Christin, I live in Munich, and I have a lovely little sewing corner in my living room where I enjoy designing new and beautiful bags. At the same time, I’m studying social work and secretly dream of a social project that can be linked to the bags.
