B-grade goods | Factory seconds

Items that aren’t quite up to standard during production are referred to as ‘B-stock’ or, in modern parlance, ‘factory seconds’. These may have tiny or insignificant cosmetic flaws. However, I don’t stock any functional B-stock – that is, items where the intended function doesn’t work properly.

“Hi Markus, I ordered B-grade stock but received two brand-new items. Perhaps another customer is now annoyed?! ...”

In this case, they were simply B-grade items with barely visible flaws. Perhaps one could just sell the items as they are, because 3D-printed items and individual parts can sometimes look like that – something I’ve experienced myself as a customer – but I don’t like doing that.
